Comeback falls short against the Crew

The Red Bulls were ready to cap off a three match swing that saw them beat the New England Revolution late in the second half, an early historic goal and a defensive battle in DC. But sadly they dug themselves a hole and just barely couldn’t get out of.

The Columbus Crew came to Red Bull Arena and scored three first half goals to just take the full three points home and make it a three goals to two victory on a Red Bulls comeback that just fell short.

The opening goal from the Crew came in the 7th minute when Jonathan Mensah found himself wide open on the rebound and burying the ball inside the near post.
