Cristian Casseres played a full 90 minutes for the Venezuela men’s U-20 national team on November 14, so no great surprise that he was on the bench when La Vinotinto played Ecuador’s U-20s just two days later.
Venezuela won its first game - against Bolivia, 1-0 - in the quadrangular men’s U-20 tournament it is hosting as preparation for the 2019 South American Men’s U-20 Championship.
La Vinotinto’s second game of the tournament did not go so well. Ecuador won, 1-0.
Emerson Espinoza scored for Ecuador in the ninth minute, and an equalizer never came for Venezuela.
