Kemar Lawrence and the Jamaican national team were on the wrong side of the scoresheet during the second game of the week against Costa Rica in Group B CONCACAF World Cup qualifying, 3-0. Lawrence had to leave the field after an challenge early in the game, but returned to the field three minutes later, calming the nerves of New York Red Bulls fans. Enough with the defensive injuries already. He did get subbed off in the 64th minute for striker Dever Orgill, but that was to boost some offense into Jamaica.
Costa Rica goals were scored by Celso Borges (7th), Bryan Ruiz (37th) and Johan Venegas (76th) of the Montreal Impact.
