New York Red Bulls playmaker Alejandro “Kaku” Romero Gamarra has been named to (former RBNY head coach) Juan Carlos Osorio’s squad for Paraguay’s friendly against South Africa on November 20.
Osorio was appointed to the Paraguay job in September. Kaku was summoned to a get-to-know-you national team training camp in October, and is now in the squad for what will be La Albirroja’s first game under its new head coach.
Paraguay will play South Africa in Durban on November 20 in the Nelson Mandela Challenge. If he makes it on to the field, Kaku will pick up his second cap for his new national team.
