Among the least important things affected by Hurricane Matthew's savage assault on the region was the October round of qualifying for the 2017 Caribbean Cup. A few soccer matches had to be postponed and the simple solution is to play them a little later in the year, which will happen in early November.
Haiti must play French Guiana on November 9 in Port-au-Prince. On November 13, Les Grenadiers will play St. Kitts and Nevis in Basseterre. Those two matches will settle the outcome of Group 2 of the third round of Caribbean Cup qualifying.
