Derrick Etienne has been named to the Haiti men’s national team’s preliminary 24-man squad for the November round of CONCACAF Nations League qualifying.
The squad was announced on November 1, as Haiti advances its preparations for its November 17 showdown with Nicaragua.
Both teams have maximum points in CONCACAF Nations League qualifying after two rounds of matches.
The current tournament is essentially a way of both filling 10 berths at the 2019 CONCACAF Gold Cup (to add to the six already filled by the six teams that made the final round of CONCACAF qualifying for the 2018 World Cup), and setting up the initial distribution of teams into the three-tiered Nations League that will start in earnest next year.
