A soccer match is very much the least of Haiti's concerns in the wake of Hurricane Matthew, a point underscored by the decision of the Caribbean Football Union to cancel the match between Les Grenadiers and St. Kitts and Nevis, scheduled for October 11.
Citing the multiple Matthew-induced flight cancellations that have made it difficult for the Haiti squad to travel, the Caribbean Cup qualifier due to be staged in St. Kitts will be rescheduled.
Almost certainly, Haiti will now be asked to play both its Caribbean Cup Third Round qualifiers in the November international window.
