Bulls Abroad: Cameroon qualifies for 2017 Africa Cup of Nations

Edgar Salli put Cameroon into the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations with an emphatic strike that proved to be the Indomitable Lions' winner against Mauritania.

Neither team was able to add to the score, and Mauritania's task was complicated by going a man down late in the second half. The 1-0 win sees Cameroon clinch top spot in its AFCON qualifying group and a guaranteed berth at the 2017 tournament in Gabon.

The New York Red Bulls' Anatole Abang won his fourth cap for his country when he relieved Vincent Aboubakar in injury time, seeing the out the last few minutes of the game as Cameroon duly secured the three points it needed to render the final round of qualifying games moot: the Lions will be in Gabon.
