Bulls Abroad: Anatole Abang called to Cameroon squad for November World Cup qualifier against Zambia

Cameroon head coach Hugo Broos has named a 23-man squad for the Indomitable Lions' first home game of the current (and final) round of CAF qualifying for the 2018 World Cup.

There were no great surprises on the roster, which includes New York Red Bulls' striker Anatole Abang (on-loan to Hobro IK at the moment), and former RBNY player Ambroise Oyongo.

Cameroon is in a tough group: Algeria, Nigeria and Zambia are its opponents. Only the winner will progress to Russia 2018. The Lions opened this decisive phase of their campaign with a creditable 1-1 draw in Algeria, though Broos has reportedly indicated he thought his team missed an opportunity for all three points against an out-of-sync home side.
