The New York Red Bulls' exiled forward, Anatole Abang, is on an extended break from club duties: the Danish First Division is on its winter break and won't reconvene until March. At some point between now and then, his team - Hobro IK - will need to appoint a new head coach, who will have the task of guiding the club currently top of Danish pro soccer's second tier to promotion.
For now, however, Abang's priority is mainly to hope for a call up to the Cameroon Men's National Team's squad for the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations.
