ALL-STAR GAME: Kemar Lawrence Goes 45 for MLS All-Stars

New York Red Bulls defender Kemar Lawrence started for the MLS All-Star team and played the entire first half before being subbed out.

The MLS All-Stars took on Atletico Madrid, which scored a late first-half goal to go into the break, en route to a 3-0 victory.

Lawrence earned his first MLS All-Star honors as one of 13 selections made by All-Star head coach James O’Connor of Orlando City SC.

Lawrence, now in his fifth season with the Red Bulls, has been a mainstay during two Supporters’ Shield seasons, four-straight playoff appearances, and three Concacaf Champions League runs.
