ORLANDO, FL. (July 21, 2018) - The Red Bulls Academy U-14s fell in the semifinals to Bayern Munich, 1-0, at the inaugural International Champions Cup Futures, Saturday at ESPN’s Wide World of Sports Complex. The match was shown live on national television on ESPNEWS.
The U-14s were the only U.S.-based team to reach the Semifinals of the Championship bracket.
The tournament featured 24 teams from United States and Europe. Eight being from MLS.
Bayern scored the game-winning goal in the 44th minute chipping the keeper. Bayern has yet to allow a goal in the tournament.
