In the 2-1 victory over second-place Toronto FC, center-back Aaron Long got his 100th MLS regular-season start. Long, who this year captained the U.S. men’s national team in a friendly against Costa Rica, closed out the 2020 regular season with 1,330 minutes played and two goals.
“To be honest, I didn't even know that I had reached 100 regular-season starts this year with the Red Bulls, that's a huge honor,” said Long. “It's a place that has a special place in my heart, reaching 100 starts is nice.”
