Chris Lema, a second-year player with NYRB II, enjoyed a great 2019 season leading the USL Championship in chances created with 94.
On July 13, Lema became the ninth player in USL Championship history to record four goals in one game. He was placed on the 2019 USL Championship All-League Second Team for his efforts during the 2019 season.
He has cemented his name into the franchise history book becoming the all-time leader in games started (56) and minutes played (5,008). The Ridgefield, New Jersey native shined in the middle of the field placing fourth in goals scored (5), third in assists (6), and second in minutes played (2,837) for the club.
