Sky Blue trades two fourth-round draft picks to move up and select the William & Mary star
Sky Blue finished their 2015 National Women's Soccer League (NWSL) college draft by trading away two fourth-round picks to move up to the 29th pick. They used that pick to fill a need as a backup goalkeeper, picking William and Mary shot-stopper Caroline Casey.
Barring more trades, Casey will go into Sky Blue FC camp in a few months as the backup for Brittany Cameron, who was the team's MVP last summer. Cameron played all but eight minutes last summer.
