Sometimes the phrase “puck luck” is an excuse for a player who isn’t producing. Sometimes, it’s a phrase that’s cruel to see in action and watch it work its way into a player’s psyche.
And no one knows that better than Rick Nash, as the Rangers’ star power forward is admittedly streaky when it comes to putting pucks in the net. So it’s been just one goal through the opening 10 games this season, when the Rangers have stayed afloat with some disjointed play but own a 6-2-2 record nonetheless.
