Per the NY Post, Vitali Kravtsov has put in a trade request from the NY Rangers. The former 9th overall pick has been used sparingly this season, and while there appears to be no ill-will between player, coach, and general manager, Kravtsov likely wants a more consistent role, something he won’t get with the Rangers.
There is no obligation to trade Kravtsov before the March 3 trade deadline. Kravtsov likely will not be moved for a rental, so that would the trade deadline out of the question. The draft is the most likely time to see a Kravtsov trade, if it comes.
