Rangers coach Alain Vigneault and GM Jeff Gorton have one more game Wednesday night against the Boston Bruins at the Garden to evaluate which players they intend to keep and cut to form their final 22-man regular season roster.
Henrik Lundqvist is expected to make his third and final preseason start in net.
Tuesday afternoon in Greenburgh, while Gorton attended the NHL’s Board of Governors meeting in Manhattan, Vigneault ran a 70-minute practice with the 25 remaining players in camp – including a couple minutes of addressing the team in a gathering at center ice – then described his observations and challenges in making the final determinations.
