Rangers first-round draft pick K’Andre Miller crashed hard into the boards over the weekend. Initial reports said that he would miss this weekend’s action, but we now have an update as to the status of the Wisconsin defenseman.
This is certainly fantastic news not only for the Rangers, but for the Badgers as well. Miller has recorded 22 points (5G, 17A) in 26 games this season, leading both forwards and defenseman in offensive production for Wisconsin. The freshman’s offensive production is the second-best across the NCAA for all first-year college players. The recently turned 19-year-old is thought of as one of the top young prospects within the Rangers organization, and seeing him continue to develop will be very important to the future of the Blueshirts.
