DENVER — Rick Nash is questionable for the Rangers’ game Friday night against the Avalanche after leaving the ice with a back issue about halfway through Thursday’s practice at the University of Denver rink.
“I twisted it and it kind of locked up on me after I took a shot,” Nash said. “I felt really good the first three drills, then I just threw it out.”
Nash, who missed some time with a back problem when he was in Columbus, said he hadn’t had issues for the last “two-and-a-half years,” since missing some practice time.
