Credit a Swedish knockout for the sartorial inspiration. In September 2011, the Rangers played a preseason match 4,000 miles from Madison Square Garden in Gothenburg, Sweden.

The Rangers beat Florida 4-2, and went out to a nightclub afterward to celebrate, according to an account in the local paper Göteborgs-Tidningen.
