The last four games the New York Rangers have played have been maddening. They’ve blown leads in each of the games and have looked awful in doing so. They’ve taken dumb penalties and lost structure and discipline. Finishing with four out of eight points has taken off some of the sting, but the team is developing some bad habits that need to be fixed immediately. Sunday’s matinee at the Garden is a good place to start.
It won’t be easy. They are playing the Vegas Golden Knights, last year’s surprise team. The Knights got off to a horrible start this season, but they have turned it around and are back in a playoff spot.
