A 10th consecutive victory on Thursday over the Lightning - the team that bounced them from the playoffs last spring - would tie the 1939-40 and 1972-73 Rangers squads for the franchise’s all-time mark.
“It’s cool, an Original Six team, a franchise with such history, it’d be a special thing,” Rick Nash said. “I think when you’re streaking like this, you just stick to what’s working. I think it’s pretty early too to be watching the standings, but you just try not to change that much.
