Stolarz Shuts Down Rangers In 1-0 Flyers Victory

The Rangers hadn’t played since their January 19th contest against the Boston Bruins, a game that the Rangers won 3-2. In their return from a nine-day hiatus, the Blueshirts put 38 shots toward the net of Anthony Stolarz, but the native of Edison, New Jersey was equal to the task and ended the modest Rangers winning streak at three.

Chris Kreider – Though he did not score in this one, the team’s leading goal scorer had five shots on net, some of which were saved heroically by the Flyers netminder, including this chance from between the circles.
