St. Louis Blues cancel practices due to multiple positive tests for COVID-19

The St. Louis Blues have been forced to shutdown their training facility due to multiple positive tests for COVID-19. According to Blues reporter, Jeremy Rutherford the team uses the Centene Community Ice Center in Maryland Heights, Missouri. The team last practiced there on Thursday.

On Friday, the team cancelled workouts and the facility won’t reopen until Monday. It should be noted that the Ice Center is used by the public. The Blues do have their own private dressings rooms but the situation doesn’t seem optimal for safety.

This is now the second team in the NHL that has closed its facility.
