St. Louis beats Rangers prospects, 2-0, in Traverse City

The Rangers were defeated by the St. Louis Blues, 2-0, in their second game of the Traverse City Tournament on Saturday night.

St. Louis tallied the only goal of the first period, as C.J. Yakimowicz notched his first goal of the tournament 5:51 into the contest.

The Rangers outshot the Blues, 10-5, in the second period, and registered the first eight shots on goal of the middle frame, but neither team was able to tally a goal. St. Louis added a goal 2:13 into the third period to take a 2-0 lead and close out the scoring.
