New York Rangers center Filip Chytil is rejoining the team on their road trip this week after it was determined he did not sustain a concussion when he left Thursday's game against the San Jose Sharks, sources told ESPN.
Chytil will join the team in Calgary this week, according to a source, though it is not a guarantee he will immediately jump into the lineup. The Rangers, who play Vancouver on Tuesday night before going to Calgary, say Chytil is day-to-day with an upper body injury.
The 25-year-old Chytil stayed behind on the Rangers road trip this weekend as he saw a specialist, missing Sunday's game against Seattle.
