The Rangers website was updated overnight after all the signings made in day one of free agent frenzy. Whether this is intentional or an oversight, it does seem odd.
Ryan Strome not on Rangers website
The Rangers are showing a 23 man roster currently on their website after making 8 signings. At forward, recently qualified Phil Di Giuseppe and Brendan Lemieux are there. Further perplexing is the inclusion of newly signed Kevin Rooney.
Where’s Strome?
Remember, after the draft Jeff Gorton fully admitted he was trying to trade Strome and that’s why he waited until almost the deadline to qualify him.
