Ryan Lindgren had a hearing with the NHL’s Department of Player Safety, and it was determined that he will not be suspended for his hit on Joonas Donskoi.
(1/2) After thoroughly reviewing all available video and following a telephone hearing today, the Department of Player Safety has determined that there will be no supplemental discipline assessed to NY Rangers’ Ryan Lindgren for his hit against Colorado’s Joonas Donskoi.

The league commented that Lindgren’s approach, actual hit and follow through was done so in a way that the contact made did not violate Rule 48.
