The rights to Carp have been traded for $2,000 in cap space and Miye D'Oench from Harvard.

Carpenter (Boston College) was drafted first overall by the Riveters in the 2015 NWHL Draft. At BC, she scored 279 points (134g, 145a) in 150 games and won the Patty Kazmaier Memorial Award her junior year. She won a silver medal with USA Hockey at the 2014 Olympics. Miye D’Oench (Harvard) was drafted fifteenth overall by the Boston Pride, and collected 122 points (64g, 58a) in 135 NCAA games.
In addition, the Riveters will receive $2,000 towards their salary cap from the Pride, as negotiated by Wiseman and Moore under the draft tax bylaws.
