According to multiple reports from NHL insiders, the Rangers have traded veteran forward Cody McLeod to the Nashville Predators in exchange for a seventh-round draft pick in the 2020 NHL Draft.
The 34-year-old native of Manitoba was originally claimed off of waivers from the Predators back in January 2018, and was then re-signed during the summer of 2018. In 56 games with the Blueshirts, McLeod registered three points (G, 2A) and had a plus/minus rating of -21.
