According to Larry Brooks of the NY Post, and other NHL insiders, the Rangers have placed Matt Beleskey on waivers. If he clears, the 30-year-old forward would be assigned to Hartford.
Matt Beleskey (#NYR), on waivers today, has been scratched for 108 of his last 148 #NHL games. He's in the fourth season of a five-year, $19 million deal originally signed with the #Bruins.

Beleskey was acquired by the Rangers in the trade that sent Rick Nash to the Boston Bruins in February.
