Larry Brooks of the New York Post is reporting that the New York Rangers have hired Ryan Martin as the team’s new assistant general manager and as the general manager of the Hartford Wolf Pack. Both positions were previously held by current GM and Team President Chris Drury before his promotion earlier this offseason.

Martin has been working behind the scenes with the Detroit Red Wings since the 2005-06 season when he was first hired as Director of Hockey Administration.
