DeAngelo gets qualified (Getty Images)
The Rangers and Tony DeAngelo took another step in the right direction. This afternoon, it is being reported that they have extended him a qualifying offer in order to retain his negotiating rights.
The #NYR have extended defenseman Anthony DeAngelo a qualifying offer. 53 points last season and a +12. I would think this one might be heading to arbitration. It’s going to take 5+ million a year to get this done before arbitration. #NHL
