Report: New Divisions for Next Season

As we get closer to the reported January 13th start date for the 2021 NHL season, we also have reports for the new divisions that will limit travel and, hopefully, keep everyone safe as the COVID-19 pandemic rages on. Keep in mind, this realignment comes with a 56 game season.

Not finalized yet, and still subject to change, but the 2020-21 four-division re-alignment currently looks like this according to sources:

Some highlights; We came so close to a reformed Southeast Division as Tampa Bay, the Florida Panthers, and Carolina Hurricanes all reunite and welcome new comers Columbus Blue Jackets, Nashville Predators, Detroit Red Wings, Chicago Blackhawks, and Minnesota Wild all into the fold.
