The New York Rangers have responded to Chris Drury’s loyalty and dedication by promoting him to Associate General Manager. This is a well deserved honor for the hard working former Blueshirt as he’s done a wonderful job with his role in the rebuild.

Yesterday it was learned that Drury told the Pittsburgh Penguins he was not interested in their vacant GM opening. This coming after the Rangers granted them permission. In the last year or so, Drury has turned down the Buffalo Sabres and Florida Panthers as well.
