On a day where there was a lot of trade speculation for Patrick Kane, the NY Rangers had a game to play and that would take place at Little Caesars Arena, as the Blueshirts take on the Detroit Red Wings. For New York, Jaroslav Halak took the reins in net while Ville Husso stood opposite for Detroit. Before the game, the Rangers announced that forwards Jake Leschyshyn and Vitali Kravtsov would sit for roster management reasons.
