The Rangers looked very good yesterday, dominating a depleted and tired Anaheim Ducks team that was dealing with a bunch of sick players and playing their second of back-to-backs. The Rangers jumped out to a quick lead with a pair of goals, then extended it to a three goal lead in the second and never looked back.
This was a full team win. Very few players looked lost, the goaltending was there, the forecheck was established, and the defense wasn’t a black hole. This is the type of win teams can build confidence from.
