Jarret Stoll joined the Rangers this summer excited about a second chance. Less than 30 games into the 2015 season, the veteran forward's time in New York has come to close.
The Rangers placed Stoll on waivers Monday amid his recent struggles and lack of production. After tinkering with lineups and "trying different scenarios," Alain Vigneault said he and his coaching staff determined Dominic Moore was a better option at center than the 33-year-old Stoll. As a result, the Rangers moved Stoll to the wing - a transition that's been difficult for the former L.A. King and faceoff specialist.
