The New York Rangers rebounded from their poor performance against the Ottawa Senators and were rewarded with a 5-1 win over the Detroit Red Wings this evening. New York jumped out to a quick 3-0 lead during the second period, and added two more goals in the third period. Henrik Lundqvist, who appeared in net for the first time in three games, stopped 28 of the 29 shots he faced and finished the game with a 0.972 save percentage.
