“We’re using [our speed] well defensively to get quickly to our assignments, to get quickly to our checks and we haven’t given up as many shots or as many scoring chances as we have in the past,” said head coach Alain Vigneault. “And it’s permitted us to retrieve the puck quicker and counter-attack, and go play where it’s a little more fun, in the offensive zone.”
