The New York Rangers flipped the script just 48 hours after an embarrassing effort, and defeated the New York Islanders by a final score of 5-0. Artemiy Panarin and Pavel Buchnevich each picked up a pair of goals, while Alexandar Georgiev pitched a shutout in his first appearance of the season.
