The New York Rangers snapped their three-game losing streak this afternoon with an impressive 5-1 win over the Anaheim Ducks. New York’s offense broke out today and added five goals on a depleted Anaheim lineup that was missing their three top scorers. Henrik Lundqvist had a relatively light game in the crease and turned away 19 of the shots he faced throughout the day.

The Rangers were clearly ready right from the opening puck drop today and they immediately jumped on Anaheim in the offensive zone. Filip Chytil was able to grab the puck in transition off of pass from Brendan Lemieux and flew through the neutral zone with plenty of speed.
