TAMPA — There were some wounds that needed to heal in the wake of the Rangers’ 6-5 overtime loss to the Lightning in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference final on Wednesday night. So the solution was to all get together and head out to watch a movie on Thursday night.
Organized by forward Rick Nash, the team went to a movie theater in St. Petersburg, near their hotel, and watched a private screening of “Entourage,” the movie made from the HBO series about movie star Vincent Chase and his crew of E, Johnny Drama and Turtle.
The goal was some team bonding, after they gave up six goals in Games 2 and 3 and went down in the best-of-seven series, 2-1, heading into Game 4 on Friday night at Amalie Arena.
