The return of The King.
Henrik Lundqvist will be in net Thursday night, the Rangers star goalie told The Post, when the Rangers play in Dallas, snapping a streak of four straight games started by Antti Raanta.
Both the Rangers’ five-game winning streak and Raanta’s two-game shutout streak came to a halt Tuesday in a 2-1 loss to the Blackhawks, in which Raanta still dazzled but came out on the losing end.
Lundqvist, the franchise goalie, will start after being a healthy scratch for longer than he had ever been as a Ranger. A goalie controversy began to simmer, and still might, as the 27-year-old Raanta has been the superior goalie this season.
