The Rangers have three prospects making their way to Canada’s selection camp for the World Juniors. 2019 Draft pick, Matthew Robertson and 2020 picks Braden Schneider and Dylan Garand will compete for a roster spot.
Matthew Robertson
The Rangers selected the promising defenseman Matthew Robertson of the WHL’s Edmonton Oil Kings in the 2nd round of the 2019 draft. He is a strong skater whose hockey IQ is considered way above average. His skating and transition game makes his play anticipation and ability to control the puck a huge strong suit.
