Rangers to give Georgiev a string of starts to end season

With just seven games remaining in the season for the Rangers, the testing will continue for backup net-minder Alexandar Georgiev.

It makes sense for the team to let Georgiev get a string of starts against the top-tier offenses the league has to offer. After all, the Rangers goalie has surprised many with his play this year, posting a GAA of 3.02 and a save percentage of .909. All of those stats coming from Georgiev playing the backend for a team that is currently the fifth worst team in the league.

Aside from Georgiev arguably giving the Rangers the best chance to win, the main reason his play will continue is to showcase his game for the organization going forward.
