The day after the American Hockey League’s season ended, the Rangers wasted no time in announcing that Wolf Pack head coach Keith McCambridge has been relieved of his coaching duties along with assistant coach Joe Mormina.
Considering what has unfolded these last two seasons under the leadership of Keith McCambridge and Joe Mormina, I am not surprised this has happened. The Wolf Pack finished last once again, and have struggled mightily with continuing to develop the organization’s prospects.
Keith McCambridge entered the Rangers organization in the summer of 2016 as an assistant coach with Hartford. Then, in the summer of 2017, he was shifted to become the head coach.
