Per CapFriendly, the New York Rangers have signed Karl Henriksson the 58th overall pick of the 2019 Draft, to an entry-level contract. Henriksson, 20, had a goal and six assists in 44 games with Frölunda HC in the SHL.
A center, Henriksson has 54 games of SHL experience over four years. He’s won gold with Sweden at the IIHF U18 Worlds in 2019 and bronze at the IIHF U20 Worlds in 2020.
This is the fifth prospect the Rangers have signed since the club inked Braden Schneider to an entry-level contract.
