Rangers send Emerson Etem to Canucks for Nicklas Jensen, draft pick

The New York Rangers traded forward Emerson Etem to the Vancouver Canucks in exchange for forward Nicklas Jensen and a sixth-round pick in 2017.

Etem, 23, played 19 games for the Rangers this season and registered three assists. Drafted 29th overall in 2010 by the Anaheim Ducks, Etem played 45 games for the Ducks in 2014-15, posting five goals and five assists.

The 6-foot-1, 212-pound forward has played a total of 131 games in the NHL between the Rangers and Ducks.

Jensen, 22, has 24 games of NHL experience in parts of three seasons for the Canucks.
